Investing with Impact - A Panel Discussion


The Harvard Business School Alumni are pleased to invite the greater Harvard Alumni Association of Utah membership to a panel discussion On October 28 on "Investing with Impact in Utah".  The panelists include Utah Governor Spencer Cox; University of Utah President Taylor Randall; entrepreneur, business leader, and societal innovator, Jim Sorenson; and Margaret Busse, Executive Director of Utah’s Department of Commerce.  Andrew Clark, president of the HBS Club of Utah, will moderate the discussion. 


Date: October 28th, 2021

Time: 6-9pm MST

Place: Industry SLC (main auditorium + roof deck for pre-/post-event gathering)



● 5:30 pm: Drinks and overview of Catalyst Granary District plans on the roof deck


● 6:15 pm: Panel discussion focusing on Utah's economic development priorities and challenges, the role of impact investing generally and specifically in the Granary district, and opportunities for leading investors and others in Utah to participate in impact investing


● 7pm - 8pm: further networking / drinks on roof deck
