Wasatch Community Gardens Service Project
Join the HAAU and ANHW for a hands-on morning of service at Wasatch Community Gardens on August 29. We’ll be helping with seasonal gardening tasks like planting, weeding, mulching, and harvesting to support their mission of empowering people to grow and eat healthy, organic, local food.
We will be volunteering at the Vegtable Mining Operation Garden which features garden plots, fruit trees, and gravepines, while hosting "Familes as Teachers," where community members share medicinal plant practices, cooking traditions, and gardening techniques to grow food, knowlegde, and connection. No experience necessary—just bring your energy, a water bottle, sunscreen, and a willingness to get your hands dirty! All ages are welcome!
